NEW: DOUBLE-FILE RESTARTS

For the 2012 race season at Motor Mile Speedway, all restarts will be Double-File Restarts. Classes affected include LMSC, LS, SS, MOD-4 and MINI-CUP.

 

The race leader will have the option of starting on the inside or the outside of the front row on the initial start and all restarts.

 

All cars must maintain position until they have crossed the start-finish line on the initial start and all restarts. The no. 2 position must not beat the no. 1 position to the start-finish line.

 

The flagman will start the race. All restarts will begin at a designated, marked area.
Positions on restarts will be determined by the last completed green flag lap. Cars that are determined to be involved in the caution will be placed at the rear of the field.
