Bryan Reedy of Ashburn, VA will move up in the ranks of local stock car racing in 2012. The third generation driver will move to the Limited Sportsman division at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, VA.

Bryan finished fourth in 2010 and second in 2011 in the point standings in the Mod4 division at Motor Mile Speedway, while garnering multiple wins along the way. The Limited Sportsman division was a logical next step for the 31-year-old driver.

“I am very excited to move into a full bodied stock car for 2012” explained Reedy. “Before my driving career started, this type of car is what I worked on in the shop and at the track and hopefully that experience will pay dividends at the next level.”

The younger Reedy follows his grandfather Orvil and father Tink as drivers who have competed on area short tracks since the 1970’s. Orvil was the track champion in Late Model Sportsman cars at Franklin County Speedway in 1984. Tink was a three time track champion in Late Model Stock Cars with a title at Franklin County in 1987, Lonesome Pine Raceway in Coeburn, VA in 1990 and Motor Mile Speedway in 1999.

The Reedy Racing team will continue to be sponsored in 2012 by Intelligent Decisions, Inc., Mobility Plus and Reedy Electric, Inc.
